BERG COMPUTERS SRL (“the company”, “us”, “we”, “our”) knows how important protecting your personal data is to you and so we commit to respecting and protecting the confidentiality and security of your personal data and to comply with the regulations given by the EU General Data Protection Regulation no. 2016/279 („GDPR”) that was agreed upon by the European Parliament and Council in April 27th 2016.

Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our site. 1.1. Contact form

The completed data in the contact section are personal data that will be processed by Berg Computers SRL strictly for the purpose of communicating information about the company’s products and services at the request of the applicant.

1.2. Data included in your CV

Your data is collected through voluntary submission of your details in our website forms which you should fill out in order to apply for any of our jobs or let us know that you would like to be contacted by one of our recruitment consultants in the future.

In order to make it possible to contact you in the recruitment procedure, Berg Computers SRL needs information containing personal data. In the case of a refusal to provide any of the information required, we cannot carry out our recruitment process and you may not be contacted by us.

As such, Berg Computers will process the personal data made by the applicant at its disposal in order to carry out the recruitment process, to contact the people applying for employment and to respond to enquiries.

You will be contacted by phone or by e-mail address, using the number or address you gave us in the form you filled out or in your CV. Further updates will come through by e-mail unless you specify otherwise.

The personal data the company collects are: name and surname, email address, telephone number and additional information given in CVs and online forms. The communication by the interested persons, on their own initiative, in their CV or of correspondences that contain other personal data than the minimum necessary for the selection procedure, it is considered that the person who sent them is fully informed about the purpose of the request and assume this communication.

By submitting your CV to us by e-mail at [email protected], by fax or upload it on our website, you will express unequivocal consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of taking action at the request of the person concerned.

All data is stored on our secure server and within our database. You have the right to request deleting the personal information we have on you at any time. Please send us an email at [email protected] and we will remove any and all of your data from our database.

Berg Computers SRL will keep your personal data accessed through your CV for a maxim of 2 years (two years) at most since the moment you provided it to us, for the purpose of contacting you in the case of an opening position in our company.

1.3. Google Analytics

The data we collect from Google Analytics are non-personally identifiable information used exclusively for improving our user experience and better administrating the site. This technology may be used in analyzing trends, tracking users’ movements around the site and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We cannot identify a person that has visited the site using this collected data. The data collected through the Google Analytics software is used to make charts on how often the site has been visited, what were the main interest points and from where were the most visits.

The charts and the data are put in an online account to which only our authorized persons have access with a secure user name and password.

The data collected through the Google Analytics software is stored by us for a period of 38 months, this period being necessary for us to achieve the purpose stated above. After this period the charts created by this software are deleted.

Log file information is automatically reported by your browser or mobile application each time you access our site. Our servers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs may include information such as time and date, IP, pages, operating systems, referral. We do not link this automatically-collected data to an identifiable person.

2. What third parties have access to your data? _

In order to fulfill one or more purposes Berg Computers SRL collaborates with a number of partners and clients. We can disclose to this partners/clients your experience, education and/or skills you listed in your CV but we do not share any of your other personal data such as, but not limited to, name, address, e-mail address, phone number, citizenship, gender etc. We do this to see if they agree that you are eligible for the position required for a specific project that we work on for one of our partners/clients.

In case the partner/client to whom we send your education/skills/experience wants to get in touch with you personally we will ask for your consent, through an e-mail, to disclose other personal data to that respective client or partner.

We provide some data for third parties such as Google Analytics and Facebook Custom Audience to create lookalikes and custom audiences on Facebook in order to show and send you ads that you might be interested in, in the sole purpose of direct marketing. We do not sell the data or send it to anyone else that hasn’t been authorized by the company and that hasn’t taken appropriate security measures in order to protect your data.

These platforms have taken their own security measures and your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the organization providing it. We encourage you to read their Privacy Policy statements.

We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites or services linked to or from our site, including the information or content contained therein.

We do not, and will not, sell or disclose any of your personal data given on our website to any third party, without your express and full consent.

3. What are your rights? _

4. How do we guarantee the protection of children’s personal data? _

Our services are targeted to international companies that look for implementing software systems and technology processes that optimize their business performance.

We do not have any purpose or interest in processing minor’s personal data. No information should be submitted to the website by persons under the age of 18 years.

5. For how long do we keep your data? _

 We keep your CV information secure in our database for 2 years at most. We use this data only for recruiting purposes, as stated above at pt. 1.1 and 1.2. The data from Google Analytics is kept for 38 months. The website log is deleted every 30 days.

If you decide that you no longer agree to Berg Computers SRL processing your personal data, you can send us an e-mail directly to our DPO at [email protected]. Starting from the moment we delete your data at your specific request, we will no longer process, in any way, any of the personal data we had about you.

6. How do we secure your data? _

We take appropriate actions to manage online and physical security, risks of losing data and other such risks. We have implemented internal policies regarding the processing of personal data in accordance to which our entire company functions on.

The data you send through our contact form is secured on our e-mail address and website. Your CV information is kept in our website, e-mail address and recruiting database. This sources are kept secure on a safe server and hosting system in Europe.

Security updates are conducted frequently and the access to information is limited to only authorized persons that process your data strictly in performing their business tasks.

If we experience any data breaches where that personal data breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of the natural person, all contacts will be informed by e-mail without undue delay.

Although, we inform you that no security program or software is foolproof.

7. Other information _

We can modify or update our Data Protection Policy regularly in order to be in accordance with any future change in data protection regulations or in other regulations that are relevant in our area of work that is carried out through the www.berg-software.com website.

If we will modify or update our Data Protection Policy you will be able to access the latest version of the Policy at the bottom of our website.

Any modification brought to the present Data Protection Policy will become effective immediately and by accessing the website the visitor is agreeing to the updated Policy.
